The beautiful thing about a living world is that it can be constantly updated and improved as the game goes on. The new Battlegrounds expansion that is due out in a few weeks will surely add some new challenges for players and hopefully there’ll be more where that came from. Other than the problems that I mentioned earlier, it’s a rather smooth running game, but of course experiences may vary. There are a few minor issues with the game at current that are hopefully being worked out, but if you’re a fan of MMOGs, then you owe it to yourself to try World of Warcraft. Oh, and if you see me with my PvP flag on, always be wary, I’m never alone.
World of WarCraft is perhaps not the deepest MMO out there, but it definitely ranks up high in the longevity factor. What's different about it is that Blizzard has made the game very accessible and really put together an amazing system of quests that aren't just part of the depth, but actually a tutorial. All this is done in a world rich in landmarks, characters, races and enemies.
