Amped 3’s production values are through the roof – the graphics are spectacular, the customizability of the character and indeed even the landscapes are pretty amazing, and the soundtrack is excellent even by the already great standards of the Xbox 360. The game stands out above and beyond what we expected in every category. It has great characters (wait until you get a load of Sebastian), cool music, great visuals and a compelling story. All this is pieced together by a free play mode that’s never interrupted unless you yourself choose to continue with the next “mission”. Through this all, Amped 3 maintains an excellent sense of humor, spoofing everything from boy bands to Electronic Arts (“Colonatronic Arts”).
