Fun multiplayer action
There’s a reason that the Battlefield series is so popular and Battlefield 2142 continues the tradition of massive battles with tons of people.

Titan Mode
Creating an all new mode for the series is risky but the development team did an excellent job with this futuristic combo of Conquest and Assault.

Cool new weapons and items
From cloaking devices to automated turrets and more, there are plenty of new toys for Battlefield players to enjoy.

Huge maps
The 10 new maps that are included are all top notch with a variety of designs and settings.

Unlocking
Though it also makes our cons list, the added bonuses for players who put the time into the games are nice.

Not a major graphical upgrade
Aside from the futuristic art textures and character models, the graphics have only gotten a minimal amount of upgrading compared to Battlefield 2.

Minimal single player
Only five of the 10 maps support single player bot play; if you don’t want to play multiplayer online, skip this game.

Unlocking
You are going to have to be a hardcore BF2142 player to put the time in for getting every single weapon, item and enhancement. You are also at the mercy of how quickly the stats are updated.

Only 10 maps
For a $50 game we expect some more content than what BF2142 provides out of the box. It’s just a bad value.
