Notes
As with the GTS launch, NVIDIA has again chosen to release a new set of Detonator drivers with the GeForce 2 Ultra launch. We chose to run the Ultra with the Detonator 3 (6.16) drivers against the GTS with Detonator 2 (5.22) drivers to show the total improvement gain.
The Detonator 3 drivers are, in fact, compatible with all NVIDIA cards, and you can check out our Detonator 3 report to see how the Ultra compares to the GTS when they both have the same 6.16 drivers.
We only have the staight head-to-head tests in this preview. We'll save the fancy FSAA tests for a later time (after we find out where Sarju is hiding).
