Intro
Meeses
Another year, another mouse. I'm not sure how often people change their mouse; but if you're anything like me, you probably never do, until something drastic happens … if only that glass of orange juice was six inches to the left, or if ma had left the jug o' molasses out in the shed. Regardless of how a mouse meets its demise, it is a part that needs to be replaced quickly. Navigating the windows desktop through a series of tabs, alt-tabs and other assorted methods gets tiresome.

When it comes to replacing what seems to be an extension of your palm you have to be discerning. That little hunk of plastic needs to be chosen very carefully. End up getting stuck with a mouse out of an iMac and you will rue the day you even purchased a computer. With this in mind, a few factors come into play: uses, cost, and shape. These probably aren't all of them, but they are the major ones. Hoping you don't get shafted by a situation like this, we have a review of the new Logitech optical mice.

Rumble rumble
We all remember the Logitech Mouseman, a behemoth among mice resembling a paw, more than anything else. So what have these people been up to? We got some new mice from them to review, two to be exact. One of them, the MouseMan Wheel, goes up against the Intellimouse Explorer from Microsoft. For those of you that don't care to know the names of the various mice, that would be the strange gray optical monster, with buttons in more places than I am comfortable mentioning. The other offering, aptly named the Wheel Mouse, competes with the plain vanilla optical Intellimouse, the classic Microsoft shape with laser beams attached to its head. Hoping that the notion of a rumble pack attached to a mouse has left the minds at Logitech, we should have some pretty good stuff on our hands.
