MouseMan Wheel USB/PS2
When I first laid eyes on this mouse, I was a little bewildered. Upon installation, my jaw dropped. The moment the blue LED flickered to life I knew it was meant to be. The chosen one had arrived, the sleeper has awakened… Sue me (I go for looks, maybe this explains why my relationships don't last too long). But it was more than just the blue LED that made me like the mouse, much, much more than that.

This curvaceous blue wonder looks nothing like the oversized the paws of yesteryear. The shape is slightly reminiscent of the Intellimouse Explorer, mainly because they are both quite unique, combined with the fact that its slender blue sides are covered with numerous buttons. Along with the usual two buttons, and the all too common wheel, it seems we have picked up yet another regular, the curious thumb button. I'm still not used to pushing a button with my thumb; I'm just waiting for a mouse with pinky buttons to throw me for a loop.
Like most left-handed people, I was left out in the cold when good mice started appearing years ago. Companies don't find the southpaw population too profitable, I guess. Either way, I was forced to assimilate to the right. It wasn't too bad, but now another nail has been hammered into the coffin with this mouse. There is no way on earth a left-handed mouse user can touch this thing. It's a plot to make us southies go underground.

Wheel Mouse
This little guy is considerably smaller than its big brother, the MouseMan Wheel. Its conventional shape is what really calls to me. Some of the new mice these days really go out on a design limb. Personally, I find it easier to swallow the normal shapes over some of the "ergonomic" mice out there.
The Wheel Mouse has the same blue color as the MouseMan but it lacks the distinctive blue LED. I would kill to have that on this mouse. Aside from that, all the features you expect out of a normal mouse are there. Two buttons, and the standard wheel are present. Aside from its optical nature, there is not much else to say about this simple, well-designed mouse.
