I love it when a manufacturer isn't afraid to share all their test results with the consumer. MidiLand has always had one of the most comprehensive specification pages in the industry. All of the above information was found on the back page of the owner's manual.
Important specifications that deserve our attention include the 100dB maximum SPL. This compares to 110 dB for the class leading, 400 watt Klipsch ProMedias. Nevertheless, extended listening at sound pressure levels anywhere close to 100dB will guarantee long-term permanent hearing loss.
What this means is that, on paper, the S4-7100s should provide more than enough volume for an average sized room. In this case, the theoretical performance matches what we tested - the S4-7100s can play loud.
