These modules are designed with the AMD Athlon 64 and Opteron 64-bit CPU platforms in mind.
Registers are located between the incoming address and control information and the SDRAM components. Typically registered modules are also ECC (Error Checking & Correcting). Registered ECC modules allow top notch systems such as servers to have reliable load and timing ratios as well as being able to check and correct any single bit error.
Our PC3200 DDR SDRAM is only compatible with DDR SDRAM capable motherboards. If you're unsure if your motherboard is capable of using DDR SDRAM, please check your manual or contact Mushkin Tech Support.
Please note that this memory will not run on the MSI K8T Athlon 64 board, or any related version of it (such as the Neo or the FISR2).
Mushkin Registered ECC DDR memory modules are designed for superior stability to 400 MHz while maintaining low latencies.
