FiringSquad Summary:

Thanks to the GeForce 7900 GT GPU at its core, BFG’s GeForce 7900 GT OC delivers more performance than the GeForce 7800 GTX 256MB which dominated the performance charts for most of 2005. The most remarkable part about the GeForce 7900 GT is that it does all this while running cooler despite its higher clock speeds. For right around $300, you’re getting a pretty sweet card.

With its higher than stock clock speeds, BFG’s GeForce 7900 GT OC goes even further than that. BFG ships all of their GeForce 7900 GT OC cards at speeds of 475MHz/680MHz out-of-the-box. This change nets the board about an extra 3-5% in performance. BFG then backs this up with their full lifetime warranty, so if you’ve ever been hesitant to overclock your graphics card, BFG does all the work for you. Sure, the GeForce 7900 GT OC isn’t clocked as high as some of the other GeForce 7900 GT cards out there, but then again it doesn’t sell as high as some of the more expensive GeForce 7900 GT cards either.
