What I want to know, what I really, really want to know is...

OK, you remember back in 2000 when the trailers for Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace came out? And yeah, we all made fun of the idiotic title but god damn, the trailer looked good? "At last we shall reveal ourselves to the Jedi, at last we shall have revenge!" And a war. And a trade federation. And political thrills.

What did we end up with? Jar-Jar and some pre-pubescent snot who is apparently STILL too old to be trained. Oh, and midichlorians. Can't forget those.

Like seriously, how can a movie look so good in a trailer and be so bad on the big screen? Never mind Lucas' total failure to live up to the original movies, he can't even outdo whatever editor made that trailer possible. How bad IS that?
