I can't be the only gunship pilot with excess disdain for incompetent gunners. Sure, you're excited to hop into the flying embodiment of death and destruction and take a ride with one of the few skilled flyboys out there, most people are. But you might as well not even be there, because I won't even acknowledge your existence until you somehow prove to me you can be useful.

I cannot fathom how many times I've lined up a shot on enemy armor, only to sigh in exasperation as the airhead behind me lets loose with the chain gun... See that oblivious enemy gunship? Go ahead and fire wildly in its general direction and let it know we're here... Hit that walker with the TV and my salvo will finish it off! Oh, that's right. You couldn't hit the broad side of a titan with it. Joy... Honestly, I've squashed more infantry under my landing gear than these idiots have shot.

I really think you need to pass some sort of training program before you can even enter a gunship. Just some offline drills. Timed obstacle courses, plenty of target practice, and maneuver training, you know, the usual. Instead of a useless "2" next to my name, give me a tiny pair of wings that signify I know what the hell I'm doing in the sky. You can even have different tiers, like gold, silver, and bronze to give people something else to accomplish. It's in everyone's best interest. Please.
