Hmm? Why should I be given the delicious privilege of exploring the Universe at War: Earth Assault Beta Contest beta test? Well for no other reasons than that I club baby seals and click on sheep until they explode. Why is this important you ask? It is because every game should have humor and good graphics.

I am the kind of person who cares nothing for competition (This means I suck at online games) and being the biggest wiener…err winner. When I play real time strategy games, all of the units will be used in my digital armies. I even use those red-headed stepchild units that no other players in their right minds would ever use because they don’t have frikkin lasers on top for the purpose of exploding the other army.

As for the beta test itself, I’d probably do my part by sending in about three bug reports. That is about par for many of the other “testing of betas” that I have participated in. I reckon that game developers don’t need 56 pages of “you did this wrong” reports, especially if there are many other players participating also. I know those kinds of 56 page people are out there; I hear their chatter insinuating itself into my brain every time I visit game forums.

My four final thoughts are:

Games should be fun.
Beta tests are exciting.
Bullet points are for sissies.
I'll post screenshots.
Too many bug reports can be a negative.
