This weeks quiz was delayed over the weekend because of the problems with
the upload function. Anyway this is the last fridays quiz. Quiz 8 still
has one question left unanswered and quiz 9 has 4 so in total there are
currently 12 questions open.

Update 6/5
I have added new hints to all the question in Quiz 8 and 9 that are
still unanswered.

Hints 6/26
Question 2 (Image 27) (#1) This game developers track recored is controversial although he hasn't released many games. A new game from him was announced not long ago.
(#2) I believe he is currently living in Asia although being American. And he has a thing for Fairy tales.

Question 4 (Image 52) (#1) Best 3rd person shooter ever!!! (IMO)

Question 5 (Image 53) (#1) A non standard vertical shooter on the SEGA Genesis/MD.
(#2) The game features a character that can't stop and always keeps moving up the screen. Like with the shooters but this is a guy not
a plane/space ship. This game is made by the same company that makes a game in one of the unanswered questions in Quiz 9.

Well crap. Blake Stone and Corridor 7 would hav been my guesses too. What's so frustrating about your quizes is the sounds are so familiar. I've played probably 90% of the ones you've posted so far but I have a hard time remembering what game they go to.

sound 53 reminds me of Blazing Lasers
sound 54 brings up images of Castlevania 2
Not sure about those but this one I'm positive.

sound 55 is the theme from Peter Gun....also known for use in Spyhunter.


Man....i gotta work on posting these in the correct spots.

Well, that incorrect also, I wouldn't be surprised if this quiz was the most difficult to date. But you often prove my wrong when I think that :)

Edit: Answer to 2,5 of the questions has to to with the past week or 2 of news on FiringSquad. (0,5 because it was exclusively about that game)

best 3rd person shooter ever huh? That makes me think of 2 games. Giants:Citzen Kabuto and Sacrifice. Since Sacrifice is more of a RTS/rpg hybrid, I'll guess Giants.

I'm just going to throw out a few random guesses here.

sound 52 sounds like a RTS. Which RTS? I haven't a clue.
sound 53 sounds like a TG16 shooter. Dead Moon perhaps?
sound 54 I'm going to say Metal Gear. Not sure why I say that though.

You are correct on Sound 54. :)
Sound 52 doesn't come from a RTS. And Sound 53 doesn't come from TG16, although the gameplay isn't too dissimilar to Dead Moon.
