Work In Progress

Mostly just a test to see what the results looked like - this is a very small compilation of radar shots quilted together to make a tiny map of the Hunter's Notch area in Ered Luin. The structure to the South is Noglond.

Would anyone be interested in fleshing this out with me, and making a much larger and more useful map?

If we were going by work involved, this shot would win by default. It took me a long freaking time to piece those 12 radar captures together.

Nice work. Just an FYI before you go too far into this project though, Turbine is working with Google Earth to make a Google Earth version of Middle Earth. You'll be able to place your own map notes and zoom to points of interests, things like that.

Now compiling dungeon maps on the other hand...
