I have a 40" Samsung 1080p HDTV. When I hooked up my 12 year old rig, it worked clear in my TV. I can set the resolution to 1920;1080 in many of my FPS. Watching movies off of it is also great. Planning on getting a new gaming rig around Febuary when the new G92 (9800GTX) comes out and also Penryn Quad Core. Planning on using HDMI wires so I can really put the output to 1080p. I have been using the conventional VGA cables to connect my PC to my computer. I consider any PC's a HTPC if it is connected to a nice LCD. A 24 inch LCD Monitor has an output resolution of 1920;1200 that has the lowest price is 350 bucks off the internet. I prefered the 40 inch, at the price under 1000 dollars off the internet also.
