To whom it may concern
I recently bought a new system about two weeks ago. I asked the store manager for a motherboard that was upgradable. Store manager rolled his eyes. It was at that moment it all started to feel wrong. I'm just getting back into the swing of computer technology I told the store manager...a slight grin began to grow on the managers lips. Danger my gutt grumbles, but I just thought it was nervs. I arrived home with my new system and immediatly juice the machine up and check my email. New message. NIVIDIA SLI! shouts the commander from the new Crysis game. I am excited and go on to research the new technology. Amazing everything is going Dual, tripple... I am thinking.
I start investigating my new system. Pick up my graphics card box and discover it is SLI ready. I start to get excited about the SLI technology and want to buy a second GPU to go with my first. However after chatting to my friend who is rather up with the latest technology... I discover my motherboard is at the bottom end of the charts equiped with only one PCI Express slot. Well I should have trusted my gutt feeling when the Store manager started to roll his eyes mixed in with that cheeky grin. I start asking myself why would the manager want to sell me an SLI ready graphics card(Geforce 6800 GTS) and connect it to a motherboard that doesn't support SLI. Most Frustrating!
