First off, I want to ditto what Deux said about thanking the sponsors: Gigabyte, OCZ, and AMD for making this contest possible and to Firingsquad for bringing it to us!

Ok, so here are my preliminary results.

The proc, RAM, and mobo are the same as everybody else's of course. Other than that I'm working with a WD Caviar Black 1TB HDD, a radeon 4770, and a 650W corsair PSU.

I was pretty pleased with this little setup. As you'll see, I managed to get a little over 3.9 Ghz on air. I got it to boot at 3.958 but Super Pi crashed it. Since I don't have a fancy cooling setup, I'm going to have to pull out all the stops to compete with Deux's awesome scores. Stay tuned for round 2 ;)
