HQ version of the entry

This video was made with the following software:
FRAPS - for video capturing
Windows Movie Maker 2.6 - for video editing
The games I used for this footage are:
STREET FIGHTER 4
BATMAN ARKHAM ASYLUM
DEVIL MAY CRY 4
CRYSIS
SPLIT SECOND
Soundtrack: Celldweller - Wings of Icarus
The main hardware I used was the MSI GTS 250 with 512 MB of VRAM. I know that this particular video card isn't a big bang nowadays but I'm very pleased with its performance. Of course I would be much obliged if I could try the new GTX 480 :)
Enjoy the video and let the green force be with you!
P.S. Sorry for the poor quality but the 10 MB limitation did its part :)

If you ask people to "imagine" what the current gen GPU can do, then that pretty much defeats the purpose in my opinion. These videos are supposed to SHOW how the new GPU can crank it up.

» Why don't YOU read the rules...
If I had one I'd surely could've shown HOW the new GPU "cranks it up". But as a matter of fact I have a GTS250 and I've recorded these games off screen showing the performance of my card. And correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't the theme (quote) "It goes without saying that the theme is how to use GeForce to "Crank that S#!T up""? So there's nothing that says "create a movie for GTX480".

I like Nvidia, because Nvidia is deticated to Graphics, while AMD makes both processors and graphics. Also, nvidia Cards look better, perform better, and have the legendary 3D Vision support. Bad thing is, that GTX 480 heats a lot, but that's not really a big problem, the fermi architecture can take up to 105 degrees Celcious heat

I do believe you. Everything that comes from nVidia is well optimized for the newest games. And the support is great - I can feel the improvement of my GPU with each new driver.

same here. i like the nvidia cards over ati. something about ati cards feel childish (im not a big fan of picture on stuff or faceplates, as long as it looks slick, I'm won over lol)
