| Ok,
Here are some facts:
http://stemcellresearch.org/facts/treatments.htm
Thus, Fox was pleading for "government funded" EMBRYONIC stem cells research--this research has no viability.
Also, Rush NEVER said he was faking it. He said he was other "acting or off his meds" Never, never, never said he was FAKING.
Get your facts straight. Do not listen to what people tell you, get the facts yourself. Flag this | Edit this post |

| 1900 x 1200 ... hmmm it make my gaming at 1024 x 768 seem so paltry... But then again, I do not have a monitor that will go 1900 x 1200; so really why do I care? Besides, I really only game on the 360 anyway.
Good for ATI for keeping the pressure on nVidia as we all win. I find it funny how fans of both sides rip on the other--when in reality, you can not even begin to tell a difference between cards at the high end--and, if you can, then you have greater issues to deal with; like having a life. | What a completely irresponsible title JCal. I listened to the show, and he did NOT say he was faking Parkinson's (never came close to it); if you would let your bias go away and actually research what was said, you would realize he criticized Fox for going off his meds for political capital. Just because Fox has Parkinson, he is now untouchable--why? So now you can not question Fox or any of his motives because he is sick? How pathetic is that. It is unfortunate, yes; but it does not make him untouchable. When Fox did the add--deliberately taking himself off the meds as to exaggerate his condition--he opened himself up for criticism. If Rush criticized Fox out of the blue and for no reason, then you have an argument. JCal before you put ignorant headers up for an article do yourself a favor and actually research this issue before you look like a buffoon.
Besides, the Fox add was inaccurate--regardless of his condition. Fox was pleading for embryonic stem cell research is Missouri. Missouri ALREADY allows for stem cell research. Furthermore, embryonic stem cell research ACTUALLY causes tumors when injected into mice's brains. The cells are simply too unstable--again do your research. If embryonic stem cells were truly viable as a chance for medical advancement, PRIVATE INDUSTRY would be all over it with R&D. Embryonic stem cells are simple too unstable. ALL of the stem cell research and advancements have occurred in ADULT stem cells. Again, it is very easy to look up and verify.
I am ranting, but I just dislike blatant ignorance--and misleading at that. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Why do we celebrate this? This poor child will, more likely than not, have a very difficult life ahead of him. Obesity has become pandemic in this society. Granted, I think fat people are generally funny. I mean, you ever see one try to do anything athletic?
Ger, please....... Flag this | Edit this post |

| Thank God they did not have the internet/gaming/pron/etc. when I went to UT in the late 80's.
Drinking myself silly was time consuming enough.
I don't know how kids do it now in college with all the distractions today. Back then our distractions were chicks, booze, sports, and parties. The only computer games worth a shiat back then was the Ultima series, i.e. dos games--and all done on a monochrome screen most of the time (ah, the many shades of green). | Hmmm,
Leave it to Sony to say November to get people to maybe hold off on the Xbox 360 for hopes of a shiny new p3 this Christmas. I really hope they can get the unit out by Christmas, if not, I fear the backlash will be severe. They will loose all those on the fence to the Wii or Xbox 360. They might even loose the hardcore followers to sheer stupidity and arogance. What is concering is that we STILL have no word that the p3 has even gone to silicon yet. I just can not see right now how they can make November.
Another aspect we must consider is the p3 exclusive software developers. They have sunk millions into development and need to get their games out to cash in. With every delay, they get crushed. I bet some of the exclusive titles will suddenly become "unexclusive" and cross platformed (there must be a clause) if the p3 falls deep into 2007 or even 2008. I mean, damn, the Xbox will be on its next gen games by then.
I hate to see this unfold as it is critical that there is a healthy console war out there. If Xbox 360 dominates, then we all suffer. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Dude, totally. I think fat people are freaking hysterical. Anytime fat people engage in any physical activity, I damn near fall down from laughing so hard. But, alas, I have grown tired of them. Now I am starting to think old people are rather humorous. So, it is time to move on to newer, err, older pastures. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Good God, my hands get tired enough using a regular controller. Could you imagine holding your arms up like that for a few hours at a time. Nice gimmick, but come on--aiming down the barrel of your your Wii, neck all bent out of shape, hands firmly grasping your controller--looking and sounding gay. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Smoke screen.. Abuse and confuse...
PS3 will fail -- well not completely fail, but it will not be anything like the PS2 as far as dominance. There seems to be a massive amount of set backs for a machine has not even gone to silicon yet. Then to back it up by making arrogant statements, insulting their clientelle, etc. is baffaling.
People are finally on to Sony. Flag this | Edit this post |

| "So, who's got an deep, dark urge to work as a guard in a women's prison?"
So you can nail all those toothless, disease ridden women. Have you ever seen the women there. They all have been ridden hard and put away wet. Ack, there is a reason they don't hold prison beauty pagents. I would not get on one with your di ck. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Have yet to figure this statement out. If you want backwards compatibility, then freaking put the dvd into your xbox you currently own. It makes sense seeing how you can not take your saved games over to XBOX360. And, who really cares about XBOX games now anyway? Flag this | Edit this post |
