| Here's the point though: our article is futureproof.
Six months or a year down the line, when an E6700 becomes affordable and G80s and R600s are flooding the market, our review will tell you something about the CPU. Kyle's won't. Kyle's says "they're all the same". Flag this | Edit this post |

| It's the purchaser's duty to read reviews. I make my opinion clear - the game right now is unplayable. I don't know what else you need me to say.
Since a patch is coming soon, I've decided to hold off and review it then.
Writing a hasty review of a game crippled by a bug that obviously got through QA, based on the 9 levels I've managed so far, isn't going to be either a very good review or very informative in a week. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Dude, I gave the first impression and I explained that the game is unplayable in the current state. Sure, I could rip on it, give it a 30% score, and then be wrong by 50% next week because they'll fix the memory leak or whatever's wrong.
You KNOW the game has a serious bug. My first impressions tells you that. If that's a deal-breaker for you, why do you need a score?
If the patch doesn't fix anything, I'm ripping it for all she's got. But the simple fact of the matter is that this IS a high-quality game with good production values. That QA didn't catch this bug is obviously a big issue, but considering that the rest of the game looks great, I think it's fair to give the devs a shot. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Sorry, maybe in the days before the internet that was true. Now that everyone is connected, you're doing the buyers a disservice by steering them away from a game where a single patch can mean the difference. If Titan Quest had serious gameplay issues or bugs that looked too numerous to fix, I wouldn't hold back. Flag this | Edit this post |

| The game is not in a reviewable state right now on my PC. If I reviewed it now, it'd get like 30% because it's almost unplayable. And then, say a patch is released this week that fixes everything, I'll look stupid.
Sometimes a little restraint is a good thing\. Flag this | Edit this post |
