| » Grand Prize???? Clearly the game is to promote Windows Vista.
The most interesting piece of the puzzle has to be what is the grand prize. Can anybody here figure it out? Here are a couple of quotes from the puzzle:
"Fewer than a thousand people have ever been there to see the ultimate vista. The grand prize winner will be one of them."
"One person will find me at my vanishing point. I will make that person famous in a way the world has not seen before. Their name will be repeated as many times as there are stars in—
No. Let’s be more precise. That name will be repeated as many times as there are grains of sand on a beach. That’s my promise." Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I've been to a few of these marketing conferences over the last year, and you always hear about viral marketing and how this company did this and that and how successful it was. Personally, I think the successful ones are almost always based on a great product and all the marketers are doing is providing a venue for people to share their enjoyment of the device. I also own a PSP. For the most part it sits in a drawer collecting dust. You are never going to get me raving what a great device it is, not because it isn't kinda cool, but because it isn't REALLY cool. Flag this | Edit this post |

Maybe they are all waiting for VistA to launCH so they can see wHERe the bugS are and let someONE else discover WHAT does and doesn't WORK. Maybe they are all on VACATION and are not reading FiringSquad TODAY. MAYbe THEY just DON'T give A DAMN about MOTHERBOARDS and C P U 'S. MAYBE THEY ARE JUST IGNORING US INTENTIONALLY TO DRIVE US CRAZY.......AAAAARRRRRR Flag this | Edit this post |

| Thanks Doomtrooper. The topless video is hilarious.
The Camaro isn't quite as dusty these days. I almost have a full coat of wax on her and she's starting to shine right up. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | My favorite was from about 20 years back. This guy walks into the main office of the LAPD and asks for directions to LA. The cops on duty notice they guy is acting a bit strange and has a white powdery substance on his nose. So they follow him out to his car where they find 50lbs of coke in his trunk. | | I think the anti trust laws have to be revised. US based companies are increasingly facing more competition from companies abroad who are not subject to our anti trust laws, or in the case of China our patent laws. This puts US companies in jeopardy when fighting off foreign competition in an increasingly shrinking global economy. Flag this | Edit this post |

| I'm not particularly excited about the launch of the PS3, nor would I camp out for days or pay $1000+ for one. But who are these idiots fooling. The PS3 is just the latest target in the popular sport of grandstanding by a bunch of loud mouth know-it-alls. These guys would rather the population spend 4-5 hours a day in front of the TV listening to their drivel.
Interactive entertainment is the future gentlemen and you'd better get used to it. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Unfortunately I don't think it would work because the Parhelia is still limited to a maximum resolution of 3840 X 1024 and the native resolution of a single Dell 3007WFP is 2560 X 1600. In order to line up 3 30" monitors, my Parhelia would need to run at (need my calculator for this one) 7680X1600. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | According to the article, VHS was born Vertical Helical Scan to JVC of Japan. In actual fact, it was born to an American company by the name of Ampex, who promptly put it up for adoption to JVC because they didn't see a commercially viable market for it. Flag this | Edit this post |
