| I really can't blame Ubi for this, they knew they could not compete with Red Dead Redemption and stay in the Old West. Why not keep the name (IP) alive, bring to modern day, and stir up some free marketing by creating controversy? USA Today, NY Times, etc. have already ran the articles about the Mayor of Juarez calling for a boycott, blah, blah, blah...

| Intel builds this technology into their chips, they need someone to implement it on the software side. Should they go to individual developers or a service such as Steam looking for partners? I'm sure Gabe didn't get a dime to implement this...

I can see, as a business model, offering a console version. But these developers should remember where they got their start...
They should develop on the PC first (we all know KB/mouse is better), THEN port to console. Offering a demo for the console and not PC? F&*K you, Crytek!
I played Farcry and Crysis because of the outdoor/jungle lushness. Going city makes the IP just like all the rest (Gears, Killzone, Resistance, etc.) Sad to say I will not be purchasing this title. Flag this | Edit this post |

The pinewood Derby was coming up in cubscouts. I asked my 7 yr. old if he wanted to do it. He said yes. Every day for 2 weeks before hand (and earlier), I asked if he wanted to work on the car. He wanted to play video games, Legos, etc. So we make a car the night before..it's a turd. He doesn't want to go the next morning at 7:30am..I tell him "Hey, the winners need somebody to beat." Isn't that what competitors do; try to put you out of business? So West and Zampella were not under contract - they could talk to whomever they want...
Lord, we need new publishers. If you told me 10 years ago I would be defending EA, I would have punched you in the mouth. Now Activision is the bad guy, in turn Blizzard too. That leaves Valve, though the Steam monopoly on distribution is scary. Yes, there's others, but I bet 99% of us let Steam load at startup and check out the Winter Sale. Flag this | Edit this post |

| I agree Baddy - I have a 4870 1GB OC'ed. I was thinking of getting a new card, but there is nothing out there in the sweet spot now.
Manufacturer doesn't matter to me, ATI for DisplayPort or Nvidia so I can get some 3D Vision glasses for my 60" Mits DLP....it's going to cost me either way. Flag this | Edit this post |
