it's probably not going to do much for gaming outside of shortening load times and reducing hitches from accessing the hard drive mid-game. that $50 would serve you much better as more RAM or a better video card.

crysis may offer more freedom than most FPS, but there is still level progression. i could totally see AC as a wide-open GTA-style world.

so they've taken 3 years to get 2/3 of a "sequel" out the door, right? i guess if you want to get it more often in pieces, that's cool. i just think they should be able to put them out faster, especially considering they haven't created a new engine this time.

they're taking too long and charging too much for this episodic crap. finish episode 3, then gimme HL3 in a few years for $50.

the sam and max episodes are good because they're actually released in a timely manner.
