| | The failure rate isn't that simple. It probably has to do with his power supply. I would guess he has a very dirty power signal in his home. That is usually the cause for electrical component failures like that. I doubt that the XBox 360 has great input filters to negate a poor power signal. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Thank you. I took her out on my parents boat on Fathersday, and we played in the water all day at the sandbar. It was a lot of fun.
Do you go out to the beach much with your kids? Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I remember playing Team Fortress on the Quake Engine, but I thought they had a few other versions since then. I would be surprised if the second version is finally being released now, considering that the first is probably as old as StarCraft. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Knuckles,
I finished HL2 first and got Doom 3 afterwards. HL2 flows much better and was a better scripted game, but I love that horror/suspense feeling from games like Doom and Resident Evil, as well as good suspenseful movies, so I liked Doom better. Besides my first game for the PC was Doom 2. Actually, that was the first game I played on our family Pentium 60. I had an 8088 when I was 10 or so, and I had to write my own games for that, because I didn't have any CGA games to run on it. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Doom 3 was pretty fun for me. I liked it a lot better than HL2, because it had an ambiance that suited me more. I liked that you had to sneak around places with the flash light and stand on eggshells to pull out a weapon when an enemy came out. The story line wasn't very well put together though, which has been the same for all id games I have played, but the mood made it fun to play. I hope they get some better writers and a better plot for this next game. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I don't play any of the consoles, nor do I plan on it, but MY GOD, what is wrong with you people? Everyone is arguing over the Wii, 360, and PS3. I don't see many valid points in any of the arguments written here. It is like you hate certain systems for no apparent reason, then go and try to make up reasons for hating them. I just don't get it. Did a Wii break in and kill your mom last night, or maybe a Playstation slept with your girlfriend, or an Xbox ran over your dog? I mean these are inanimate objects, how can you loath them so much? Flag this | Edit this post |

| I don't understand the third paragraph where it says:
"So what do we think of the Halo 3 beta? Well, if you like the first two games in the series there is no reason why you would enjoy the beta version of this game. "
Because the article then seems to support a fan of the original liking the Halo 3 beta. Am I missing something here? Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I started to read this article, but the first paragraph was full of typos. Or at least it had two before I stopped reading it. I don't mean to be an ass (but I am pretty good at it anyway), but you may want to read back over the article and edit it. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I made a custom map of my school on Duke Nukem 3D back when I was in Highschool. I had no intention of shooting anyone at school, it was just cool to play a game based in my home town, and my home school. I think this is a stupid punishment, but then there are psychos out there, and while I doubt he was one, schools feel they have to seem like they are trying to protect their students from them. | | I still have my first computer - an 8088 - and it still runs DOS 5.0. I learned how to program on that thing, mainly because it wasn't powerful enough to run any modern games, so I wrote my own. It is amazing how much work a kid will do to have fun. There is no way I would take the time to teach myself a programing language just so that I could write a program that I don't have. I am too lazy now and would just go out and buy it. Flag this | Edit this post |
