| When it worked, it was really good. On every machine I ever saw it played, the gamer had to remember to save before and after every battle because it'd crash randomly and horribly, sometimes even to BSOD.

| | More players does not mean a better game. Joint Operations (on PC) supported up to 150 players, but the game was crap when you had that many people even on a huge map. | | Well, general political affiliations aside, it's hard to see why someone invested in the video game industry would ever contribute to the current Democratic candidates because of the common "government knows what's good for you better than you do" stance. Next I wonder if there'll be some sort of adjustable throttling option, i.e. 30% of the GPU dedicated to physics, 70% to graphics, etc. Probably a lot more difficult than just overlaying a GPU hardware abstraction layer on top of the PhysX code. I must say I am actually surprised over what looks to be the final outcome. This is possibly the first winner that Sony has ever picked in a media format war. The video game industry is almost autonomous in the economy, because even when everything else sucks, people will save their money to buy and rent games. In fact, they'll do it BECAUSE everything else sucks as a matter of escape.
