| » Why should I get it? Well, I have many reasons I could tell (I can't afford, I love gaming, it would look cool on my desk, etc), but the one thing that makes me think I deserve this is that with such a Gaming PC, I can finally convince my fianceé that computer gaming can be great!! | » Definition of LAW Jakub,
I'll just make a remark on your comments on the "The Law of Porportional Decline in Game Complexity" article, you wrote:
"A “law” is something that’s true in all cases, something that can be proved through logic as always true."
Well, that's not true. Here is the definition of law for you:
(in philosophy, science, etc.)
a. a statement of a relation or sequence of phenomena invariable under the same conditions.
b. a mathematical rule.

| I agree with you. I can't believe firingsquad did not mention this. Maybe they received a no adware version.
I'm definitevely not buying this game, but not only for the adware, but for the lack of respect EA has for it's customers, releasing unfinished games, disclaming it wouldn't add widescreen to their games :P Flag this | Edit this post |

| There are a ton of games that should get another sequel, but definitevely these should figure in the list:
XCOM: UFO DEFENSE (not the crappy one Micropose published in the late 90's);
Road Rash (this was a truly great series - whipping a chain in your competitors' face was really nice); and
Grim Fandango (really nice and humorous adventure title, back from the time when Lucas Arts did employ non-star wars-fanatics). Flag this | Edit this post |
