| It's not like this is a PC game. Aren't all XBox 360's the same? This is idiotic why developers aren't testing their games more.

| I was just waking up to go to work when I found out that one plane hit the first tower. Then I saw the second happen then I heard about the Pentagon.
I got to work and since we had a TV there, I watched it. My boss was a huge religious nut so he was talking about the second coming and all. I was just shocked.
Then, a few weeks later I seen this video of people jumping out of the WTC with the music, It's raining men and Freefalling. I think that was one of those video sites you get weird stuff from.
I'm from Canada and while I was shocked that it actually happened, I knew something was going to happen one day. The attitude from the USA gov and some citizens made sure this tragedy happened. I have watched those conspiracy shows on the WTC too. It's all too weird how this all happened.
I know, the CN Tower was a target earlier this year but it got foiled and that's good because I always wanted to go to the CN Tower, I should go next year.
Also, on CNN there is a new video saying that something will happen soon again. I'm guessing the alert level will be at its highest again. Flag this | Edit this post |

| I'm hoping for a Tekken 360 game. Oh that would be sweet. Namco already makes a few other games for the 360 eh? Why not Tekken, that would be nice. It might upset Team Ninja though. Oh well, keep the games non exclusive.
The article was alright, it didn't paint Sony in a bad light, it just brought to light all the speculation from the media and what could happen.
Japan will make the PS3 a success there. Sony fan boys in North America will make it a success here. Too many people hate MS for some stupid reason they don't understand and that's too bad. Having competition is a good thing. Flag this | Edit this post |

As for the XBox 360 jumping all over this. Perhaps a bit but I think Nintendo has the biggest to gain here. I'm a XBox 360 owner but I feel that when people go to the store, don't see a PS3, They'll see two new consoles. The 360 and Wii. The Wii will be cheaper and therefor probably be a hit. Then again, the Wii could still have that kiddie moniker on it and parents will then buy the 360.
Too many variables. There are too many dumb Sony fan boys that will settle for nothing but a PS3 so their parents will get nothing. The worst thing is to see some brat get a XBox 360 or Wii and never play it because their friends say only the PS3 will be cool.
Sony is in for some trouble unless their console totally blows away the XBox 360 in terms of speed and graphics. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Yeah, someone has some anger towards MS. He's probably a Sony fan boy scared that his PS3 won't be better than the XBox 360.
I've used the Live service on the XBox 360 and I love that I can download a bunch of demos and stuff. It's fun.
Without me, they wouldn't have made it to 50 million as fast.

| I'll try the demo just like I did for BF 2. I liked the demo so I bought the game but Battlefield 2 was the first BF game I liked, I'm not into old age shooters, I like modern and futuristic.

I feel Sony has just bitten off more than it can chew with releasing a new video format while not really being much better than DVD in the first place and really looking the same as HD-DVD while at the same time, releasing a console which has upset a few people and at a price that has to be called out of the market. Not to mention, the upcoming problems of a console launch. You think MS had some problems withe the 360? The Cell is more tempermental than a triple Core IBM CPU.
I feel they'll somehow screw the people that bought their earlier players because Sony will be forced to merge with Toshiba. It's odd, Toshiba and Sony are in on it together with the PS3 yet against eachother in the DVD format war. Crazy world. Flag this | Edit this post |

| My XBox gets warm but never hot like some say. Then again I don't play it for hours on end.
I'm glad I got my extra warranty from my local Futureshop, as soon as those new cooler/faster XBox 360's come out I'll be exchanging for one of those.
It's also first revision of a console, they are bound to have some problems. I'm betting the PS3 will have a ton of problems out of the gate and you will see threads like this all the time. Who knows, with the Cell yields doing so bad, they could be failing when some kid plays his PS3 for a few hours.

| I got Halo for the PC and it was fun. I liked the MP and pretty much abandoned the SP.
As for Halo 2. I don't think there should be a high price on the game but at the same time it should be fun because it will be taking advantage of probably some nice graphical features.

As for the movie, Star Trek XI is supposed to be something when Spock and Kirk were young. That's going to suck big time.

| I rented it last night and took it back an hour later because I couldn't get past the game loading screen.

| I have no problem with EA. I like the Madden and NHL games, BF2 has only crashed a handful of times and that was on my older machine. It does need optimization but I'm ok with it.
I've tried the Beta patch. That new level they promised hardly shows up on the server list. I guess that could be because they took it off the ranked list. Perhaps I'll have to look through the unranked servers.
EA hasn't been that bad. You guys forget about companies like Sony, Microsoft, ID, Blizzard and those that have done wrong things but for the most part, we enjoy their games and are happy when they release new ones.
No game company is paying me to play their games so I'll play what I want, I have no loyalty to any gaming company or console maker. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Yeah, what gives? I got DOA 3/Ultimate/4/Xtr B Volleyball and I want to see some big titties ! LOL. The XBox 360 will have independant boobie action for Xtreme beach Volleyball 2 and I don't see it in the movie, they aren't busty enough.

| What about a game like Battlefield 2? It's an online game where stats are kept and the better you play, the more points you rack up which allows you unlocks/ranks and stuff like that. EA charged us so much for the game and there are expansions which they charge us for too but those aren't needed to play the game.

| I don't think Sony will win this generation. I also feel BluRay and HD-DVD will have to merge for that whole next gen format war to be settled and this might hurt the PS3 in terms of customer satisfaction if a merged format were not to work on older PS3's.
Nintendo has a gem on their hands if they can come to the market with all those features they claim and titles to maximize the entertainment value. If Nintendo falters then Japan will go to Sony while North America and Europe will go to Microsoft. This is only speculation though.
I'm happy with my XBox 360. I'm also very happy that certain titles are now being developed for both consoles. If Microsoft can somehow get the Tekken and Metal Gear Solid franchises then Sony would be hard pressed to find reasons why their console is the better choice. Flag this | Edit this post |

| I remember when I was in high school, My father bought me Mortal Kombat 3 for the SNES as an early Christmas present. It cost 89.99 CAD.
However, those days are gone because cartridges cost more to make than a optical disc. If the PS3 prices their games at an average price of $80 then they have lost before they started. Only fanboys will buy games at that price for the PS3 when they will be able to get the same game for the XBox 360 at a lesser price. Ooh, there is an extra making of bonus video. Big deal. | Well, obviously this beta will cease to work on a certain date or after so many days/weeks/months.
I'm getting the 64 bit version as I have an Athlon 64 CPU. I actually think this is a great idea. Legally, we can try Vista out before Microsoft tries to make us purchase it. It's almost like a demo.
