| I would of clubed the skater punks in the face. Afer I used my pepper spray. I live around those stupid punks who put people in danger including themselves by skating in the streets acting and they dont even care if cars are trying to pass or not. They own the road. He did pretty good in holding his temper over all. It has to be frustrating to him that hes having to babysit for their no good parents.

| What Makes me angry is they want even admit to their own mistake. At least show some integrity.

| Yes, I am saying its time for Vista exclusively.. Reading xp benchmarks mean nothing to me.. Vista has been out a year.. I have never seen it take so long for pro sites to upgrade so we can see performance numbers.

| Blu-ray or HD-DVD both use the same codecs. They both look great. The only reason i dont personally use blu-ray is sony's tactic to shovel the format using the ps3 as a trojan horse. Sony having even more pull over movie media.. and that is a very bad thing.

It's obvious they will never be able to balance the game and because of the Resilience stat they have almost made the game into two seperate games. Prior to BC I enjoyed being able to pvp and pve now they both require different gear sets instead of just stacking stats that contribute to your class. | I think Console gaming will continue to hurt PC gaming. The only exception will be RTS games and MMO's. The reasons are because TV's are becoming more like computer monitors in terms of resolution so that is 1 advantage that PC gamers dont have anymore. The other is the Price/Performance Ratio. A great video card alone costs 500-600 dollars not counting any other parts. Consoles have dedicated hardware that allows devs to focus on optimizing their games completely for the specific hardware and this is the biggest draw back of all for a PC gamer, a lot of games are released with bugs, play at low FPS and other problems that you just dont see on a console.
So with that said I dont think PC gaming will die completely out of course, what I do think is that as the transition to DX 10 and vists is completed PC gaming will rise back up to the challenge until the next console is released that has a Mouse and keyboard, then its a different story. I would of rather them of used an account type system to register your key to and perhaps even use steam to register your key too, but either way I cant really blame them.. I may be a bit biased, I host lan parties several a year and it makes me sick to see people with 100s of gigs of games they didnt pay for while the hard working folks pay for their legal versions. Im not sure about development but I do have an opinion on whats killing game sales atm. Me and a lot of my gamer friends are in a hardware transition on the pc, with high end video cards costing upwards of 500 dollars now its really hard to save for hardware costs and at the same time buy the games you want to play, at least it is for people on a college type budget. There are several titles id like to be playing including stalker and many more coming november that a lot of people just cant afford that 500 dollar video card to play. With vista and dx10 now out we are stuck in a software os change as well. All of these costs are taken out of our gaming budget. Flag this | Edit this post |

When i went to college and did programming for myself i realised how much work devs put into these games. I personally have vowed to never play a game I did not purchase. I also agree to some extent that the last few released of pc games have been extremely unfinished and bugy. Devs could just release their games via steam. Its pretty secure.
