| | wow u moron. it's saying that it INCLUDES 2 movies valued at $30 a pop. how is that a BAD THING? and DVD movies can be found for more than $30 pretty regularly, aka 2,3 disc sets, etc. HD-DVD stuff can actually be cheaper depending on how many discs the DVD has to use vs the HD-DVD. | What they didn't mention is that when you buy a PS3 premium, you actually just get the case and a sticker. You buy the componenets online at the sony store. If you don't have the money, Phil Harrison repossesses your house.
Phil was later quoted off-the record as saying "I just ate my own fecees, and they tasted like money!" Flag this | Edit this post |

| This is to Kevin and the guy who says he composes for a large orchestra.
Grouping different genres of music into the "art" and "not art" catagories is pretty pointless (as is trying to classify rap as something other than music). I don't think that either of you will ever win an argument against the validity of rap as a music genre or an art medium. It is subjective.
Specifically to the guy who composes and played in the funk band in San Diego:
Rap is just as much music as is rock. I've heard so much crap that is classified as rock that at this point I'm pretty sure I could argue that rock isn't a valid form of music. Regardless, much of what you call rock has its roots in gospel and the accapella that black slaves sang while toiling on the fields of America (blues, jazz in a similar vein). Rap has very similar influences, and often even incorporates modern rock riffs, themes, and methods of composition. So if you are someone who knows music like the back of his hand, you should be able to at least appreciate rap as a form of art.
And kevin, rap is not propigated soley by mindless droves of undereducated blacks. Plenty of smart, well-rounded, and even eclectic personalities listen to and enjoy rap. Generalizations [and opinions] are like assholes... You know the rest. Flag this | Edit this post |
