| | Nice work Kevin. Good for a preview-type article where a full review might not be necessary. Looks like a very cool mod though. I like the idea of controlling cyberspace in the game. What we really need though is an MMO, RPG or even FPS set in the Neuromancer world. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Thanks for joining us Kris. Great article. We've seen a lot of personal retrospection so far in the contest. This article definitely touches a nerve for anyone who grew up playing video games and has followed the evolution of a game franchise. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I thought the prose was effective for the subject matter. If he was more serious and actually included some diagrams of his proposed designs, then I would agree with you that he should tone down the rhetoric. But, for a humourous op-ed piece it worked perfectly-less sarcasm would have been actually quite boring to read IMO. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Actually, the entire article is riddled with far too many errors in spelling and grammar. If you are too lazy to even use a spell checker, you get a 1. It just indicates a general disregard for the craft and profession of writing, and is unfair to the other contestants who work so hard on their articles. If FoamingPanda does a final proofread, I will be happy to reevaluate.
No, I'm not a judge. But have you seen my avatar? I reserve the right to be "harsh". Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Very in depth review, but watch the grammar in a couple places. For example: "In my playing so far there appears to be little value to infantry though it does get progressively better in its offensive and defensive capabilities the speed of cavalry appears to make it the better choice for at least the first hundred years." | | Good opinion piece with historical perspective. Some fact and figures to back up your many assertions would have made this a much better article. I questioned many of your points, wondering where you got your facts from. Also, some pics would have been good to jazz things up. You could also use an editor: you have a tendency to construct elaborate run- on and often grammatically incorrect sentences. However, you have a solid voice. Good work. | | Very well written. The only complaint I would have it that it is maybe a bit general. I think you could rework the article with some more technical examples and benchmarks to illustrate your points. Then it would be a 10 for sure! Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Considering how many talented designers there are out there who are under-employed, $1000 could potentially produce some very good work. At $75 an hour for a decent designer, we are talking about 13 hours of work. In my experience, this is more than enough time to produce something good. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Really good effort for a 1st time video review! Aside from what everyone else already mentioned, your review could have benefitted from using graphics to outline your major points. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I don't think you went into enough detail for the FS audience, made apparent by the (lack of)length. However, I did enjoy your writing style which was fresh and engaging. You definitely show some promise, just put some more effort into the next one! Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Thanks for showing Pongky. I can't wait to get there, this will be my 3rd trip to vegas for CES...sin city is probably the best place in the world for a biz trip (duh), if only for the fact that a couple rounds of blackjack in between meetings beats grabbing a coffee. And then there is all the excessive partying on someone else's dime...in fact, I can't imagine going to Vegas and having to actually PAY for everything :) Flag this | Edit this post |
