| The Chinese have constantly vilified themselves over the centuries. Sometimes they're cool as can be, but sometimes they're dicks about anything and everything.
BTW: THE CHINESE ARE THE BIGGEST PIRATES ON EARTH! Flag this | Edit this post |

| | An end of an era in the USA. Now we know we can never compete scientifically with other countries because our children grow up on dumbass cartoons and crappy television. Our children are stupider than ever before. MR. WIZARD WE NEED YOU NOW MORE THAN EVER! You will be missed. Flag this | Edit this post |

| I actually bought Starcraft in May too. I lost my old bootlegged CD's a long ass time ago and wanted some SC action. Let me get one thing straight though. Back when I played SC I had a 200mhz Pentium MMX (yea they advertised the most basic media enhancement back then) with 48mb of ram,a 17" Trinitron, and integrated ATI Rage II. Today I have an Opty 185@2.9ghz, 2GB of DDR500, a 7900GT and a 22" 16:10 A/R monitor.
OMFG! Starcraft is only 640x480 res and you CANNOT increase it! This game uses some 10% of my processor time at any given moment and I really didnt remember how weaksauce it was. The gameplay is still fairly challenging though and it takes me back to the good ole days of computer gaming. We can all only hope that SC2 will be as fun and fulfilling as the original. I CANT F'ing WAIT! Flag this | Edit this post |

| Some jackass just photo shopped that in 20 minutes in between web surfing for free porn at 3am.
They should start up a DESIGN CONTEST to be held online and invite participants from any country in the world to design it. Also maybe throw in a free, all expenses paid trip for the winner and a few family members. This way they can get a great design at minimal cost. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Probably a lot less than any major city OR small town in my beloved U.S. of A.
Cocaine and Heroine really are the scourge of our society. Weed doesn't screw people up permanently like these other drugs but I would really like to see how productive Amsterdam is to fully understand its effects on a society LOL.
BTW, Cocaine was actually INVENTED in Italy by a chemist there. The plain coca plant isn't too bad but an Italian made an ultra pure powder from it and got rid of all the regulating alkaloids that come naturally in the plant. As usual man screwed up one of God's beautiful creations but we see the err of our ways finally. Flag this | Edit this post |

| I woulda hoped for a DX10, multi-threaded game but this will do the trick for now =)
The screens look like the War Craft 3 game engine which is a bit on the old side but still this will be fun as hell. Heck, we still play the old game from a decade ago so graphics aren't the issue here. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Its amazing that the HD 2900XT didnt look so pathetic in these tests under DX9 atleast. Honestly it seems the prob for both Nvidia and ATI is simply driver tuning for all their DX10 cards. A prudent person may have good reason to stay away from Vista and new DX10 hardware for another 3 to 6 months. I remember how XP sucked for about the first year after it's launch. AMD may have something really good with their 2000 series cards but we just cant tell yet. Flag this | Edit this post |

| I agree with you about the 256-bit bus size. Both Nvidia and AMD need to have midrange 256-bit cards to really give any value to their products. These 128-bit variants will be too weak to handle DX10 games even at a midrange level. Their DX9 performance is weak as it is and anybody wishing to buy Crysis will have a helluva problem playing that game on a 128-bit card.
128-bit = WEAKSAUCE! Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Children shouldnt watch TV until the age of 5 or 6 for developmental reasons. Some parents just plop babies in front of TVs and dont do anything else like reading to them or playing with them. This leads to developmental problems in the actual brain structure. TV actually kinda does rot the brain and we all already know it fuxed up our attention spans (that and this damn computer). | | I like how they compare this sooped up 8 core processor with THE SLOWEST Core 2 Duo 4300's to make those numbers seems ungodly fast. Id prefer to see this thing up against the Core 2 Quadros so we can have a more realistic perspective of the performance gain of 4 more cores. I do not like BS benchmarks and this one definitely smells bad. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I'm from Texas and I've never heard of that happening. Down here in the USA our horses get us home themselves if we're too drunk to ride. That horse should be ashamed of himself. I do have to admit, it was darn nice of that bank to do that for that fella. Customer Service FTMFW! Flag this | Edit this post |
