| | It's Rainbow Studios, I absolutely loved Motocross Madness 1 and 2. As long as the gameplay and feel of driving lives up to the Motocross Madness I will fall in love once again. Nothing like a good off road game where you can laze about and good off with friends in it's HUGE environments. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | It'd be absolutely devastating for Bungie to reform as a "different" company. Bungie is known for one thing in the "modern time of gaming" and that is Halo. You change the name and only a very small amount of the audience will know that they were once Bungie, no matter what measures are used to get the word out. Flag this | Edit this post |

| You're kidding right? Consumers are exactly what decide the format war, and if Wal-mart can shove a $200 HD-DVD Player down consumers throats, that WILL be huge part of a format war. Sure you have a PC Setup, but 98% (rough guess) of households don't use a HTPC. More and more people are getting HDTVs, with that comes the demand for higher resolution/better quality video. A $200 player will BLOW a $600 player out of the water in terms of sales, especially if it's at wal-mart, home of the uneducated consumer.
For me, I don't care either way, I'll sit back and wait, I rarely watch DVD's anyways, and if I need to see a movie in HD, I will download it in HD from Xbox Live. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Agreed, amazing demo. The graphics are by far the best seen yet on the 360, and the atmosphere of the game is unreal. If you've played System Shock, you'll feel right back at home in Bio Shock, well except the time setting and so forth. I have only bought Gears of War as a shooter on a console, this will be the second. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Got it downloaded, and played now for a good 2 hours, my thoughts.
The driving mechanics is simply amazing, it just plain blows away anything on a console prior to it. Inertia, Body Roll, Weight Distribution, Power to Weight Ratio, it's all there and is very noticeable depending on the car you are driving. The graphics are very good also, as a matter a fact after glancing over GT:HD screen caps, I just don't see a difference between the two. Perhaps one of the neatest things about the demo is the Telemetry overlay which can be accessed at anytime during the game with your arrow keys, is awesome to watch your Body Acceleration in real time, not to mention all of the other variables under Telemetry.
The demo has 1 track, 24 cars total, 8 cars per division. I wish the demo had a Time trial mod or something similar, just to go by myself and tear up the track.
Now my beef is this, when you are racing and the AI is ahead of you, they seem rather "laid back/sunday driverish" if you will, however as soon as said cars fall behind, they turn into revenge raged psycho destruction drivers. Sure you're racing against the clock trying to avoid penalties and so forth, but the damn AI goes into craze modeas said before.
I enjoy the demo quiet much, still very excited for the full game. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Made great tube amps, fixed for ya, and as Astro fly said strats and les pauls are like comparing apples and oranges. Myself, I have owned two Les Pauls, and have gotten rid of them both due to the fact that they way an assload, and playing for more then an hour and that shit starts hurting your shoulders.
As for the Fender Tube Amps, the Hot Rod Deville is the most noteworthy of recent fender amps, however back in the day.... they had some killer ones... i.e. Twin Reverb, Bassman, yada yada. Flag this | Edit this post |
