R.A has been really excited about it, but I'm still up in the air. Cryptic doesn't have a stellar track record with MMO's so far. But I would LOVE a MMO in the forgotten realms.
I am in no way surprised about it being set up with 4th edition rules. Then pen and paper game plays like an MMO with the way combat and your skills and powers/spells/abilities are set up.
I remember back in the day of wire frame graphics(Elite,Artic Fox,Ect) Some games would come with mini Novells that were actually quite good! This wasn't an unexpected move as alot of games nowadays have tutorials built in then game
well hopefully this content will be more than an hour long and actually add something to the game. The first 2 were terrible(IMO), except that Shale added some interesting commentary and a nice twist right before a certain Boss fight(if Shale is in the Party)
Oh Hell Yeah!! I loved the first one! Yes it has its shortcomings,every game does. But something about it just made me want to explore more,get scared more, KILL MORE!! I'm looking forward to this with great interest.
