| No, Nay, Never!
Economics of emptyness. = (Game Industry)
Fun marketed and catched until it's nothing more than an emptyness of numbers. And the puirsuit of fun and discovery is lost in the trap of hype and marketing. So there is nothing to gain and nothing to lose. All is known all is trapped.
So what's the point? Button bashing? Buying of happyness. Or like rats in a maze, no way out?
So, no, nay, never. This time I won't go to pay this WILD ROVER! Flag this | Edit this post |

| I liked the Might and Magic series. And I will never, ever buy an Oblivion clone. (I'm still recovering from MM9).)
So it would better to send the series to the grave it deserves. And remember the the now dead gameplay.
Just an opinion :) Flag this | Edit this post |

| @warthog2k, I don't think BioShock is going to be the same as System Shock 2. They just will make it with the (Kiss-priciple)in mind, Keep It Simple Stupid.
The fun of System Shock 2 was it's complexity, unforgivinness ,emersion and story. It was hard but rewarding.
I could be wrong I hope I am. But revived sequels have a hard time to appeal the new and the old game public. Those who do remember the game before and those who never ever heard about an old game like System Shock 2 or Deusex 2.
And so we are faced with publicers and developers who try to sell oldies with the KISS priciple. And it's a KISS with a sting.
The reason I didn't like Deusex 3 was the (Kiss-principle).
Other games who need a sequel.
The Tone rebelion,
I have no mouth and I must scream,
Ascendancy,
Planescape Torment,
Sid Meyers Alpha Centauri,
Legacy of Time (The Journeyman Project 3).
Bye :) Flag this | Edit this post |
