| | I dunno how much say they had in it, it's their parent company that merges, not Blizzard alone...it's like your parents said "ok, we're moving to that neighbourhood cause it's better for us", how much could you do? Assuming of course that you're still dependent... Flag this | Edit this post |

| Ya, same here, I installed Vista on an extra HDD and once I set everything up properly, I haven't booted back to XP so far (almost two weeks now).
The biggest hurdle I had was with my SB Live 5.1, after struggling with 3rd party drivers and still not getting it to work and then discovering that all of a sudden it started giving weird crackles in XP as well, I bit the bullet and got an X-Fi. Now everything is fine so far although I gotta try more games. So far I tried BioShock and The Witcher and there's no noticeable difference in performance and BioShock gives the few DX10 bonuses (the water ripples are really nice).
Btw, you can get EAX on Vista as well, just need to install ALchemy. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | So I'm guess I'm pretty lucky then, since my gf loves Diablo 2 and we actually played it all the way through with expansion on home LAN and often times it was her who suggested playing? She's not a big gamer, but likes some games, D2 being one of them and she got pretty happy when I told her D3 was announced (and then upset when I said it'll probably be out in like 2 years). | | Unfortunately, you are quite mistaken, proper management and organization is crucial to success, no matter how smart your engies are. Remember, the research and manufacturing process involves hundreds of people and in order to make the business flow properly, you need to organize all of them as efficiently as possible. Not an easy task despite what it may seem like. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I loved these few precious moments thoughout the game, like the parts when the screen would turn red, you'd lose movement and there were weird noises (the mirror in the washroom at the beginning? c'mon, that was awesome) or the crying baby, or finally getting back to Delta all demolished and burnt...c'mon, those were really awesome, if they could put more moments like these and balance it nicely, that would be a truly great thriller game (it already was good). | Well, I'd be upset with the worker for wishing me bad luck but I don't know if I'd care much about an object being buried under the house as long as it wouldn't intefere with the foundations and be a potential hazard. After all, there might even be something buried there now. If I knew, would it change anything?
Besides, my point is not the fact that they're upset but that they wanna sue him. I'm just curious about what they're gonna charge him with. If it's something like "oh, your jeresey caused the concrete not to hold together properly and could potentially cause a collapse [highly unlikely]" then that's a bit more plausible than "Your jeresey brought us bad luck and caused us losses." | "...thus removing the need to kill any animals."
I'm sorry, but this is borderline obscene, it's OK to kill animals, especially chickens, for eating.
You're gonna feed artificial meat to all carnivores so that they stop killing for food? The food chain should be left alone. Flag this | Edit this post |
