| UBIsoft only needs to take one look at these forums and feel completely vindicated with their decision. All the rotten attitudes that precisely drove their decision, can be all seen right here:
1) I'll pirate it anyways, why should I buy something I can get for free
2) Well it's your fault you can't make a make that pleases me, anyways imma pirate
3) Oh I TOTALLY HOPE others pirate it too
listen to yourselves. That's why F2P(plus micro-transactions) really is the way to go. You get the same game that everyone gets completely free of charge. But if you want all the nice little extras, time to pull out the ol' wallet. Flag this | Edit this post |

| problem is, he denied that the game was bad, before he finally took blame. look back on what happened, the drama was nuts.
All this could have been avoided if they just made a good game that worked, not a game rife with bugs and was completely broken without the day-0 patch. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | The sad thing is that Bashiok won't even be used as an example to deter RealID. Also, Bashiok is no longer with Blizzard - he said his goodbyes on the forums, but it was impossible to tell whether that was a result of a layoff(firing), or on his own terms. Flag this | Edit this post |

| No, it's not a reason to stop buying from Apple. Think about how many hundreds of other companies use China as their factory sites. Apple is just one name out of hundreds.
Labor costs are rising, and so the companies will pack up and move onto the next cheaper country. Think about how India raised their prices for IT services, and how companies have moved on to the Phillipines. Even South America is becoming a hot zone for offshored work.
Point is, if you boycott one, you might as well boycott just about every company for nigh every tech product every assembled and made. Things are not cheap by accident. They're cheap due to *gasp* cheap labor. You're not making a single dent no matter how insist on "buying local". Unless you're carving your own wooden tables by hand, growing your own vegetables in your garden, sewing your own clothes, sorry, you're not a factor in the bigger scheme of things. | If those are "feet" I see there, they seem really fragile to be able to support that sizable frame. But it is underwater so maybe different rules apply.
But yes this is definitely on the realm of strange, I think maybe all the chemicals that man is dumping into the ocean is starting to really make its' consequences known. Flag this | Edit this post |

| They seem to show a lot of the same scenes or same creatures, or same surroundings, but they just edit things to "break" it up a bit.
When you really look at it, it's not very much in the way of content actually being shown. It's just maybe 3 different stages with a few different enemies, with chaingun, shotgun, pipe bomb, and that double-fisted weapon.
They just kept cutting the scenes short, showing scene number 2, then going back to scene 1, to make it appear as if there's lots to see. There's not a whole lot. Flag this | Edit this post |

| That's fair to say. But I think there's just so many holes to cover up here.
So say he hid the beer under his bed, back in the corner. OK - so when the hell, will he find the time to chill that beer?
- Wait for the parents to go to work
- Quickly sneak the beer into the freezer
- Time a minute or two to go by
- Imbibe
A heck of a lot of steps above there. And not even mentioning that he'd have to do ALL that, without his sister taking notice, AND assuming there's room in the freezer, too.
Sure it's totally possible but heaven forbid the parents suddenly show up at home early. Then he'll be hauling ass to yank the beer outta there. Flag this | Edit this post |

| LOL LOL LOL
OK that I've gotten my LOLs out of the way:
- It was a "to-do" list...notice on the page which ones she's crossed off(implying mission accomplished).
- Yes definitely this completely destroys her utterly since it's out in the open - but come on, there is no way that word didn't travel *as it was* being the "loose" gal she was already. Guys like you and me know full well that we'd share the loose gal info with each other. So while yes this being out there makes things infinitely worse - it couldn't have been completely new info in the grand scheme of things.
- Just over beer? It was probably a cheap pack of domestic(hidden in his room? Not in a fridge I take it). It probably would have tasted AWFUL(ever drank warm beer?).
Summary:
- Don't hide beer under the bed. Come clean from the get go, and crack a can open together with your old man.
- DON'T put your black book/diary/F**k list in the MOST OBVIOUS "hiding" place known to man. Flag this | Edit this post |

| And yet it's claimed that somehow, the game is STILL in development by none other than Miller/Broussard(again!)
Holy jeebus, I think it's really time to throw in the towel. How about just...grabbing all the pieces of the game that you HAVE, piece them together, and release SOMETHING? Flag this | Edit this post |

| You bet bet your ass that things are definitely doing to be watered down.
Seriously...it's Disney. For kids.
Say goodbye to any trace of any edgy themes. There is no way in hell, that Disney could come out with something like "The Dark Knight". They'll just water the joker down into the laughable villain from the old 1960's batman TV series, instead of an extremely credible, psychopathic individual who gets into your head and cuts your mouth open to widen your smile.
NO freaking chance. Flag this | Edit this post |

| ...GRAW? meaning Gears of War 1 and 2?
This is a shocker. So they're saying that the people behind Gears of War are gone? I almost thought GRAW was a license to print money.
*EDIT whoops I feel stupid. GRAW is Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter.
In that event...sorry...I don't know anyone who's played that. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Good, give it more time to release a quality product, none of this rushed stuff.
But they better as hell use that time to balance out all the races. You can bet your ass that there will be exploits and map hacks first week of release. Flag this | Edit this post |
