| | In 5 years? Sony is a load of losers. Digital sales will only work if people have a very good internet connection. Also, about every week or so, people go shopping for groceries and food, etc. and along the way they can see a game they like and buy it there. Impulse buying. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Talk about a LOOOONG download for some people. A DVD movie, the game and then a soundtrack...
BF2142 is gonna faulter because it uses the same engine BF2 uses. This means similar bugs and crappy programming. And with EA's history on bug-fixing, they are gonna worsen the game more. And probobly get gready by charging $9 for 3 extra maps.
But if EA learned their lessons with BF2, it may become a success. Although ET:QW is gonna blow the shit of BF2142. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Whats really a sign of the PS sucking is the fact that GTA, a once PC and PS exlcusive, is comming to the X360.
Also, new additions to the already tried and true X360 such as a webcam and an HD-DVD drive addon and the future "Live Anywhere" that will allow Vista player and 360 player talk to each other and sometimes play with each other.
These new addons give more awesome features to an already nice X360.
And Nintendo went the excellent way of knowing that a hardware war will be expensive and not fullfilling, as seen with Sony, and they went the way of gameplay innovation. Now their wireless motion sensor remotes are a wonderful revolution and seeing that they aren't all over super-next gen hardware, it will be a $200 system for some awesome gameplay of which I would perfer over realistic graphics.
Nintendo knows that a game is all about gameplay and not super graphics. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Sony is just sinking down the quick sand. This guy is doing worse for Sony, starting with his comments that the PS3 was a computer and not a console.
They should care about competitors because if their competitors is doing better than they are, oustripping their machine, then the PS3 is gonna go to hardware hell.
And the Blu-Ray is an untested useless piece of equipment. It just adds more to the outrageous cost. And developer's won't go the extra mile to take advantage of the extra space and quality of a Blu-Ray because it will make their ports in other systems shit and make the consumer feel like they are getting less.
Also, Blu-Ray's effects are only noticeable if you have an HDTV. And most of us don't and won't spend $2-5000.
Ken's attitude and comments are that of knowleadge of defeat.
Ken should also stop taking press conferences and such because the press is just making Sony going down the shithole even more, yet they continue.
And these battery issues and more Sony is just on the road to doom. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I tried out GRAW on Ageia's PhysX hardware and software and I noticed considerable performance drops because the GPU has to render more images of bigger explosions and particles. Ageia's product does the opposite of what it is supposed to be intended to do which is offload physics rendering from the GPU and CPU to the PPU. But instead it gives more work to the GPU.
