| | Agreed I have actually had this on DVD for a long time and I enjoyed it ... The gal who plays Tina is just super sexy ... what a hard body. And since I love the game and play as Christy how could I not appreciate how deadly they made her. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I don't understand why anyone would pay so much to play a game unless they are a pro and I mean truly professional gamer who makes a living playing tourneys. Other than that why not just buy a new car or upgrade the one you own? This seems crazy ... even for the most hardcore gamer. Maybe the Nascar/F1 dudes have this type of setup though ...I suppose if I was a professional race driver I would get a setup like this. Flag this | Edit this post |

| As the Wii continues to crush the PS3 more and more detractors using the same arguments they were using BEFORE the Wii even launched are coming out of the cracks in the walls. It is really funny to hear the Sega person talk about 5 years from now. Heck 5 year old consoles like the Xbox are dead right now ... no new games are even being made for them. And NO console is going to survive for 10 years ... not even the PS3 (which is STILL struggling at this point) ... the next Xbox will be out in 5 years and then the next Wii will hit and it will be HD ... just at the right time when the vast majority have HDTVs and are ready for full on HD gaming.
Funny how the Wii is only about 2 million or so behind the 360 (I own both as well as a PS2 so don't cry fanboy please) and people still want to bash it. As far as I know millions of homes are not going to convert to HD anytime soon so demand will still stay high. Plus add to that the fact that most homes are a two console home and you can see that Wii will win because it has the best chance at always being the second gaming system in a home due to the price. | | Like this was any surprise at all. Whoever thought this was coming out this year with all the great shooters already hitting the market (especially Halo 3) doesn't understand the biz. But they are also going to have to compete against Crysis, Alan Wake, UT3, and some other big ones next year so it will not be easy for them no matter when they release it. It better be good and not crappy like Pariah (and shudder WarPath) ... those games set DE's reputation back some. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | All I know is that as soon as I hear that Sony is going to pull the copies off the shelf I am going to go and buy one before it goes ... so that when I eventually get a PS3 I will have the original version ... in way that will make the original a cult classic. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Yeah the graphics are just not what I expect from a game made to run a 3 core 512 MB next gen system. And no cockpit view? ... yeah a bit of a letdown to be sure but still the game is really solid in just about every other aspect. The physics modeling is really excellent. | | He is all washed up and finished ... After his last disaster of a game I would never even consider buying any crap from. I know he made it big with this Alice game ... still I really think that was a one shot deal. I look at him like a pop singer/one hit wonder. If this episodic game does indeed receive good reviews and does well commercially I would be completely stunned. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | The kb & m thing is certainly subjective what are you talking about. I know plently people who would wipe anyone with a standard PC setup. At any rate you need to read what Steve Polge says about this topic. As an advanced developer and the person who is leading UT3 I put MUCH MORE stock in what he says than any user. He pretty much confirms that these days controllers are just as good (if not better ... and he actually says for UT3 the controller is better) as a kb&m setup. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | That is good and all but again those are short works not a full length feature film that is going to have a 200 million dollar plus budget. So no I don't care how good his short works are I would like to see someone with some real experience handle this project. If he does at least one full length movie before he starts on this then that would be fine, at least he would have some real experience and some frame of reference to work with. | | I am shocked to see PJ acting to damn stubborn about the choice of director's. I for one am not to keen on the idea of having a person with ZERO feature film directing experience take on Halo as his/her first project. I say wait for the director who is doing Hellboy and then go for it. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | You guys are joking but I would almost bet that a movie called Tetris comes out within the next three years. Hollywood really is just devoid of any real creativity these days. Just look at this summer for example ... almost every big movie is a sequel of some sort or a remake. The only one that isn't (among the summer block busters at least) is the Transformers. With Postal the movie and FarCry coming out as well we are already in for some seriously bad movies from Mr. Boll. Maybe someone should just give the contract for all lousy movies based off of games. He is probably going to be remembered in the same vien as Ed Woods. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Not me that is for certain. I refuse to go to Vista just yet and I am not in the position to buy a $300 plus DX10 card at this point and time. Between Wii and 360 games and even some PS2 games I just don't know I will get around to upgrading my rig.
In just a little over a year's time my system went from being close to super rig to just average:
AMD64 FX-55
2 GBs DDR400 RAM
ASUS A8N SLI Prem. MB
7950 GTX
VGA Liquid Cooling Module
G7 Laser Mouse
G15 Gaming Keyboard
380 GB HDD
22" ViewSonic P220fb Monitor
SB Audigy 2 Platinum Audio Card
Logitech Z5300 5.1 THX spks
I wonder though if the 8800 GTS 320 is better than my dual GPU 1 Gig 7950 GTX. If anyone has any info or knows the answer please let me know. I have yet to see any benchmarks that compare the 7950 to ANY DX10 card. But I do know that I will have to go to a quad core by the end of this year. I am going to skip the dual core scene altogether. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | And to think that I did a Case Study on Dell for my business class earlier this semester and in performing an SWOT analysis I identified the number one weakness that Dell had as not selling in stores that lots of consumers purchase electronic goods from. Maybe they read that paper somehow and took my BIGGEST suggestion that they really need to expand their distribution channels if they are going to maintain their status as the no. 1 PC maker. Maybe I am not so stupid afterall. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | What? How is what he played in hs relevant at all to this now? Are you joking ... you sound as bad as these nuts that are blaming this on video games in general. I played tons of violent sh*t in HS, as well as did violent things like Martial Arts tournies and shooting contests at gun ranges ... so please do not try and tell me that just because he played some CS in HS that now all of a sudden at 23 (an adult male mind you not some teenager) this all manifested itself .. yeah right. By all accounts them a great many more of us are going to snap and start taking down people all over the world. Do you folks really have any idea how many play CS online and Halo and Halo 2. The notion that these games make people violent crazy killers (when they were not already heading down that dark corridor) is insane, as insane as JT and his followers. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | here we go again with that BS ... I for one am glad guns are legal ... if anyone else had a gun other than that maniac maybe 32 people would not have died. Did you think about Einstein? Do you know how many times guns have saved a life ... it is not guns it is people ... and people will always find a way to get their hands on guns and kill people. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | You say you liked the Ang Lee movie because you are a fan of the comic ... I don't get it ... Ang Lee's Hulk and Banner are totally different from the comic book versions. The Hulk does not grow in size EVER and I found that very offensive to true Hulk fans. And what was up with picking a tall, Handsome, rugged dude for Banner ... what a joke. At last they are on the right track and I know this is going to be at least as good as Spiderman. Can't wait to see him fighting the Abomination ... that is going to be one of the best (if not the best) comic book fight scenes ever on the screen. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | You won't be sorry either ... Crackdown is a really fun game even if it is short. And God of War II is simply amazing ... the best game I have ever played (though I like the story of GoW I better). Once you get God Armor or the Dark Odyssey suit you won't be able to stop playing this game. I am totally addicted to GoW not WoW. :) Flag this | Edit this post |
