| | Bioshock needs a "Most Overrated Game of the Year " award. I played it, it looked great, the setting was superb and Bioshock had some of the best production values in gaming but after that it was an extremely boring, linear trudge through a forced plot you couldn't give a damn about. Bioshock would've been better as a real RPG/FPS hybrid with Rapture being open-world so that we may explore that wonderful city than what it is now. Flag this | Edit this post |

| When is it to be released? Because Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures is another MMORPG that will support DX10 graphics.
Kinda sucks that I canceled my subscription, but LOTRO got pretty boring and I never got above level 20. WoW and CoH/V is much more engaging. Flag this | Edit this post |

| So give us your standards for a good game. It is clear you hate all FPS games so you might as well say nothing about it because that's a preference and not a design flaw on part of the developers.
I suggest you spam your 12-year old melodrama over at GameSpot, they would love to have you. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Did you even play CoD4? The majority of the game is spent playing as a British SAS sergeant or a British sniper several decades back. Also, there is absolutely nothing console about CoD4. Sure, it was ported to a console but that doesn't mean it is plagued by consolitis. I suggest you cool off and think before you rant. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Whilst you are entitled to your opinion (and I agree on some points) I don't get how it feels like a mod... Also, linearity is important in these types of games so that it may better present a story rather than you going around aimlessly destroying it. Like a movie. I don't think you'd want to watch a non-linear movie... however that may exist.
As stated with your Call of Duty 4 rant, you obviously hate FPS games seeing as though they're all the same with the same formula (kill hordes of enemies, take cover, find health, get to point x, hear tidbit of story...) Flag this | Edit this post |

| Portal is too short to be game of the year, much less millennium. Besides the fact that you sound like a whiny 12-year old with all the caps you forget that it doesn't matter whether a game is linear or ported to a console, it only matters if its fun, and CoD4 is the most fun I've had in a long while.
To each their own, but if you call Call of Duty 4 garbage because of its gameplay than you most obviously dislike FPS games. CoD4 is all about intensity, not ground-breaking innovation. Flag this | Edit this post |

| I've never played any of the old titles so Orange Box definitely deserves to be up there. Even if it is a collection of 5 games, most of the games are pretty short. Altogether they equal about the same length as any game on that list. So instead of a collection consider it a jumble of settings and plots put together with orange paste.
I agree on Bioshock. That was very much overrated but it was unique and fun. Flag this | Edit this post |

| LMAO xD
I've heard other researchers that say it seriously increases blood flow and the added adrenaline from certain intense games increases the likelihood of heart problems. Social problems? That's because people don't get outside more. And society is overrated. Flag this | Edit this post |
