| » Here's an idea, DanT As it's going to be a tough choice, how about you let the top 15 in this round, then knock out 5 after the creative round, then down to the final two last round? Keep people on their toes (and lets a few more top pieces in this round) Flag this | Edit this post |

| I'm in the same boat. A lot of my stuff is fairly standard and basic. That's why I'd like to get into the next round and do something creative and different.
All in all, it's too close to call. I don't think I will make it through (I'm thinking about 12th place) but stranger things have happened. Flag this | Edit this post |

| I think most people here will agree with your sentiments on that. Everyone who has made it to round 2 obviously has some desire to write for the site.
Personally, I don't think I'll make it through to Round 3. There's a lot of better content out there in terms of relating the subject better. It especially shows when someone does the same item as you but with more style (I'm looking at you, OldFriend =) ).
Anyway, I guess we'll find out soon enough who's going to make it through. Best of luck to everyone! Flag this | Edit this post |

| Power666 will probably have an edge on pageviews as well. His article was linked on Blues News...
I've got a feeling I'll come in around 12th this round. Shouldn't have rushed the article I guess. Flag this | Edit this post |

| To be honest, this is the 2nd wheel I've ever used. The other was about 4 years ago and it wasn't mine, so I couldn't really do a comparison (unfortunately).
You'd almost expect MS to bundle the wheel with FM2. It'd be one of the more popular moves they would have made. Flag this | Edit this post |

| If you're after feedback, I'm sure there plenty of people around who'll be able to give you some things to think about.
I can't really write the most riveting things myself, but I enjoy trying to help others out. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Worked fine first time for me. Centered and all.
I was also considering trying the wheel on the PC. I've got the USB extender for 360 controllers and I was going to try Live for Speed as well. However, it doesn't support force feedback doing it that way either. Flag this | Edit this post |

| That's just the problem with competitive gamers. They don't want realism, ambience, etc... they want the edge over everyone else on the field, so they'll implement bright skins on characters, remove 'extra' features that just add to the environment to increase their visibility, etc.
It's the casual gamer that enjoys an environment for what it is, which is more what this would be aimed at. Flag this | Edit this post |

| It was a little rushed... I do have a habit of making everything sound like documentation though.
I was planning on throwing in a paragraph or two regarding experiences driving around in PGR3 and Forza, but time got the best of me. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I'm not doubting your benchmark for a second. I believe as you suggested - that there's a tweak in there to boost the scores artificially. Like the old Quake3 / Quack3 test HardOCP did years ago for a driver test. Flag this | Edit this post |

| The reason being that Aquamark score seems very suspicious, as all the others are around the same point, yet the bottom result is substantially higher.
Aside from that, it's a nice write up. Benchmarks are always a good thing. :) Flag this | Edit this post |

| I would have suffered in the hardware review rounds later anyway. It takes a while for stuff to make it to Australia. :)
I've still got x hours to get something in. I might see if I can find some time this afternoon to do something. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Hopefully things will have calmed down a little by then. :)
I could have put in a submission this round, but if things continued on as they are, I wouldn't be able to do much in the future, so it's better to let other people take that chance if they are going to use it better than I would have. Flag this | Edit this post |
