| » concern over flaging Yeah so I just read in my coments section that a voter accidently flagged my video hope that doesn't effect it in any way... Flag this | Edit this post |

| » Thanks! Thanks for the constructive criticism. Both of you were right, I did kind of skimp on reasoning as to why these framerate drops occurred. I've remedied the situation somewhat by adding a new paragraph. Hopefully the article is now more convincing! Flag this | Edit this post |

| » A few questions. Alright I'm happily making a video for the second prelim but do have a few questions. Firstly if our video is slightly larger than the allowable size limit can we split it into two parts and submit it as seperate entries? and secondly, as you've mentioned self promotion, are we allowed to post our creations on other video sites such as youtube in order to garner a few extra votes? | | A good and well balanced article, I like your style. However I would have to disagree with some of the coments here. I often find myself defending consoles when in these kind of debates with my hardcore PC gaming friends Especially since I find that sometimes a PC just doesn't support the genres of games that I want to play. I love RPG's and Adventure/Puzzle games. Although there are some great ones out there for the PC those kinds of games mostly get released for consoles and it's on consoles that the staples of those genre's can be found. If I want my FPS/RTS fix i'll turn to a PC very fast, but it doesn't work so well when I want to do a bit of adventuring. I think both have their place and one should not judge either too harshly. | | Thank you all for your supportive commentary. :) Being both a gamer and a mild film nut I wanted to write on a topic that covered both. All things considered there have been a few great gaming flicks as every rule has its exceptions. I personally drooled over Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children when I saw it for example. As for Doom, who knows maybe the sequel will integrate hell somehow. I do still hold out some hope for the gaming film sub genre after all. Flag this | Edit this post |
