Hey FS just thought you may want to rethink your ultimate build with 2 9800GX2s and an X48 board. You are aware that only one of the cards will be used and the other will just sit there, dump heat, and cost $550. 2x3870x2 maybe or switch to a 790i board like the EVGA or S2E Flag this \| Edit this post

In case you missed it, "Avian gathered this information on a recent swing through Asia." that would make it very unlikely to be about apple. Probably Acer, Asus, Soshiba, Sony and the like. Flag this \| Edit this post

Yeah, first thing I did when I got it was set it to 16x and it booted fine. In the end 13x250 ended up the the fastest it would go. I have a feeling that it was being limited by heat, if I find some time I may put it under water. Flag this \| Edit this post

Actually you can find B3 Xeon x3210 chips for right around 200. Its one of the LGA775 xeons that works in desktop boards. They the equivalent of a Q6400. In fact there were some Q6400 ES chips floating around for a while. Flag this \| Edit this post

OS X on my not gaming desktop XP SP2 on my other desktop Dual boot OS x and XP on my macbook pro The only reason I touch xp is to play games. I find everything but gaming is easier/better there. Flag this \| Edit this post
