| | I don't see this working for Obsidian at all. Double Fine is a unique case. They've never had proper funding but make great games despite it. Obsidian seems to have had plenty of funding lately but just makes derivative sequels all the time. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I thought the controls were OK all around.. my major gripe with the game though was how they start you off with all the superpowers and then take them all away on the second mission of the game, so you spend the entire game working your way back to the start. Was a little off-putting. Was otherwise pretty decent. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Cool! One of my major gripes about the series was that it was so easy as to be pointless to play as a game (although great to play as an interactive story). Of course one of my gripes about SS was that it could be so difficult as to not be fun anymore... options are good! Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Very true and I totally see where they are coming from. I still find myself knee-jerkingly thinking that it's something like charging money for a graphics update (which seems wrong but hey COD has been doing it for years) but given the context they probably have a good reason for it. Plus it's only $1.50. Flag this | Edit this post |

| While it's cool they added blood and gore, it really REALLY should have been there in the first place. I mean it's a damn war game. Like "hey, we finally added this feature, now pay up". This should really be a patch.
Then again if they released it that way it would turn into an M rated game and the ESRB would probably be all up in their shit. I guess if it's just a "patch" then you can't enforce age verification via the purchase process. Whatever. I'll be playing Starcraft2 and Bulletstorm anyway kthx. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Saw this a week ago and I am kinda keen to try it out. I live in Seattle. I just think it would be trippy to see how close they came to recreating what's actually here. And then get hammered and fly a helicopter into the ... wait, does homeland security read this site? Flag this | Edit this post |

| Also, this is the last day to get Starcraft 2 for half off ($30!!!!). Deal is on the front page of the Blizzard website. Was going to get it for my brother at $60 anyway so this was sweet timing for me!
Edit: I just realized this is a thread about Steam sales. Oops! Flag this | Edit this post |
