| same here, my Xbox is still going strong (even though I don't play it anymore lol) the only hitch being that it no longer recognizes my Oddworld: Munch's Odyssey disk :( but I blame that on my brother wearing out the disk laser pointlessly copying tons of music onto the HDD
I was lucky and won a 360 a few days ago with Devil May Cry 4, I hope I don't run into the same problems everyone else seems to, (at least i'll now be able to play Oddworld again with backwards compatibility rofl XD ) Flag this | Edit this post |

| so he's saying PC gaming is in disarray, well perhaps if he had kept UT3 PC exclusive and not a console port with a shoddy interface it'd be doing better

| while you have a valid point the system really needs exclusives to define itself, Halo 3 doesn't count because everyone likes to hate it, I said something in another forum but I can't think of the exact words but it was like what I said about defining a system and being able to have amazing games only on that system to make it special, as well about feigning exclusivity, I don't think anyone minds that a PC version is coming out, it doesn't change the quality of the game on XBOX360 it's just that 360 could be proud that a great game was only on their system but then taken away again, no one would have bad feelings if the PC version wasn't purposefully hidden in an attempt to make more sales
just imagine how'd people feel if Crysis or when HL2/UT3 went consoles, or if FF13 or MGS4 went PC
o btw, i'm psychic, have a look in the most recent Mass Effect news article before this, the one about the live content, I predicted the PC version :P
either way, it isn't as bad as GoW because at least this time it was predictable (KOTOR1/2 and Jade Empire were all once Xbox 'exclusives' after all) that and I hadn't already bought it rofl XD Flag this | Edit this post |

| yet another case of the magical PC version of 360 exclusives offering even more than the original version, punishing the original buyers
MS, get your ass in gear and at least make an effort to keep your 360 exclusives or your gonna find the 360losing popularity very quickly

| | hmmmm, not really excited tbh, i've always preferred the Tiberium universe (even though Red Alert was suppose to be a prequel :P ) but that may be because i've never played a Red Alert game, i'll sit on the fence for now and see how it turns out, I loved cnc3 afterall (even if the cinematics were stale compared to cnc2) Flag this | Edit this post |

that's what makes it difference, fight them, slowly get the weak and then throw em out, i'm no fan myself, I never got Smash Bros on my N64, haven't had a Nintendo console since and have only recently played Smash Bros Melee at a friends place and was 'meh' (not solely because I was getting trampled ;) I really started to get proficient with Mario towards the end =D ) but I do see why people like it so much Flag this | Edit this post |
