| Holy Cow!!!
First of all, a definite big round of applause and much respect to the other compet1tors. This was a very enjoyable contest and a very pleasant and top rate group of people to "compete" with--it truly did feel like more of a community builder than anything else.
Secondly, a very big and heartfelt thanks to Firing Squad for making this contest possible and for bringing in other factors to the mix. Never before have I seen a contest that enables enthusiasts of various backgrounds to contribute and compete on a weighted basis like this.
Finally, I'll reiterate another thanks to the sponsors who reach out and give back to their supporters by providing us with some great hardware and a great opportunity to put it to the test. I will definitely continue to support these companies.
Sincerely,

| LOL. I know--I honestly hesitated. I'm not a big fan of the great american lager or the silver bullet for that matter. Pretty much all of the beer I drink comes in bottles. In fact, the only reason I even had the BL at all is because it was left in my fridge after some friends came over.
At any rate, when scouring the fridge for aluminum cans it was the only one in there. I had to split it with my wife to get through it. I guess the saying holds, "Necessity is the mother of all inventions..." Plus, it turns out that Franziskaner bottles don't make good dry ice pots :(
I think my Beer Cooler 2.0 will be a 16 oz tall boy of some sort...I'll have to search for suitable candidates. Flag this | Edit this post |

| LOL--thanks! Ya, I'm kicking myself that I got too hasty and added too much dry ice. After it boiled over, I had to take the can off the processor and by then its "structural integrity" became compromised so I couldn't reuse it. I wish I would've got at least one run out of it...Oh well, there's always tomorrow.
Nice job on your results btw :) Flag this | Edit this post |

| First of all, kudos to you Deux for your awesome clocks. I also think I pushed high 3.9's on air (coolermaster hyper tx2). Secondly, nice work Slugbug!
Like slugbug, I don't have anything fancy as far as cooling solutions go, but we'll see if I can't pull something out of my hat!
Stay tuned folks...it should be good, er, at least funny ;) Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Ya, I got mine too. Dan said that the mobo and ram are coming directly from the respective manufacturers so there's really no telling how soon they'll arrive. Thanks again FS and AMD! Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Dan, any word from Skippy lately? I see another user is waiting on a motherboard from the EVGA contest and I'm pretty sure I won the Dawn of War II contest but I haven't seen him on the cluster in awhile and haven't been able to reach him. Is there anything I can do? Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I thought it was pretty good. I liked the RA3 video and the thought of ultra durable dirigibles--pretty clever. Plus this entry is one of only 2 videos in this section so props for going the extra mile! Flag this | Edit this post |
