| exactly...even if they did give him a copy...Jack would still just cry and say that they gave him a modified "clean version" and insist there is hidden stuff. Which in a way would be true, since it is a pre-release and the game isn't done yet. He just can't get past the whole Hot Coffee incident....everyone else has moved on and forgotten about it.

| I still think FF is just a lame gimmick, but at the same time I can admit that developers have come up with some neat uses for FF over the years.
my fave is in that one Baldur's Gate game where if you're almost dead, the FF kicks in in the form of a heartbeat to let you know.....very clever.
but yeah, in my opinion, If I had to cut costs...FF would be among the first to go. especially if the only thing FF is used for is just registering a hit upon your character...which does nothing for me. Flag this | Edit this post |

Seriously, if one of the parties came up with a cure for cancer, the other party would suddenly declare that cancer was good for you and the other party is evil for curing it.
I love how when a dem challenges a rep about how they would be tearing Clinton a new one if he had been the one sitting there in the classroom for seven minutes after being told of the attack....and the reps try and pretend that oh no they wouldn't, when you know damn well they would. its just sickening how they go round and round in endless circles like that.

However, imo Sony loses points because they're trying to talk smack about the 360 when they don't even have their overpriced vehicle for blu-ray out yet.

| they took way too long to release this patch...many people have moved on because they got fed up.
This game needs serious rebalancing too. a powered metal spike should not be able to destroy a hardened military facility so quickly. Its a great anti-hound weapon...but it should NOT be an anti-base weapon Flag this | Edit this post |

| my university sold its soul to MS, so I was able to buy XP pro for like 10 bucks....so I imagine I'll be able to pick up Vista for maybe 20
I don't really care for these infinite number of versions though. I've used nothing but XP pro ever since it came out....went to help a friend of mine who had XP home....I was going to do a peer to peer transfer of some files...but since networking is limited in Home...couldn't do the usual tricks I do so it kinda confused me at first Flag this | Edit this post |

| I think a better solution might be to make the CPU in such a way that the GPU plugs directly into the CPU...bypassing the bus completely...yet still keeping them separate products for upgradability's sake.

| it SHOULDN'T reach its potential...at least not as far as adding an additional card goes. It needs to be rolled into existing cards or have the 2nd core of the CPU do the work.

| if you're going to have an uber-rig like a Falcon, there is just no excuse whatsoever not to learn how to build a PC on your own and bankrupt those overpriced rip-offs from Alienware and Falcon.
its not rocket science. If you've got that kind of money burning a hole in your pocket, you're going to end up getting uber components anyway...so unless you do something monumentally stupid like not reading the specs and get two components that don't fit, you're going to be fine.
