I agree, I had to double check to make sure I wasn't reading the Press Release section of the news. it's more toward the people saying they'll wait for a service pack before upgrading, as if it would magically solve everything and make it worth their purchase. except, they never say what is wrong, just that it needs fixing. most of the time, it seems like they're just saying it because other people have. » Login to reply to this  Martimus (158)   Jul 20, 2007 - 05:42 am | Edited on Jul 20, 2007 - 09:21 am Most people don't have time to research problems with their purchases. It is pretty common knowledge that most new products have issues that don't usually get resolved until there is an update. The same goes with new operating systems, games, even cars and phones. Most people I know will never buy a car during it's first model year, but then I was an automotive engineer before I started working for the Department of Defense. I game at resolutions that low. I have a 17 inch LCD and a single 7800 gtx 256. The higher resolutions are not supported by my monitor and even if they were my XFX coupled w/ my Venice 3000 wouldn't be able to push playable frame rates. » Login to reply to this
