$140 for a 4850 after rebate, if the 4850 keeps dropping like this, it will be the price competitor of the 9600GT! o.0

With these prices as low as they are, there really is no excuse not to at least have a 9600 GT-level card. It's insane just how much performance $100 buys you today.

The Half-Life on cards is so quick, at this cost, it doesn't hurt to take a Test drive into the DX10 world

As a gamer, it's your Call of Duty to get any one of these cards and get out there on the Battlefield.

K, I think we've milked this one enough!

Wouldn't the cooler for the ECS board make SLI impossible or do the board drivers not support SLI?

Uhm, why would board drivers not allow for SLI? LoL It is a stock 9600GT with an Accelero cooler. Nothing more. Yes it will work with any newer SLI board as they are all seperated far enough apart to support dual slot coolers.

The problem lies with the cooler it self. It physically blocks a PCB/Flex SLI connector bridge... IF it is the card on top. So as long as you don't have 2 video cards with the AC Accelero S1/S2, you can get SLI to work.

Yea, looked up the length of the Flexible SLI connector it needs.... 12 freaking cm! Can be found here:

Yeah, I forgot about that. Yes AC makes a flexible SLI connector, but as mentioned, it is tough to find. Maybe at AC website.

Actually I believe Arctic Cooling makes an adapter for this scenario as well. It's next to impossible to find for sale online though.
