Sucks cux I loved, absolutely loved FEAR. I have played it start to finish so many times. I have been looking forward to this game for so long and they go and include child nudity and on top of that make it so bad that no one who isn't a fan boy would want to play it ... sigh.

Its like the ppl from THQ and Monolith had a meeting about how to destroy sequels to games of the year.

There is no child nudity in this game. I'm not sure where your getting that from. The character that you see that is partially naked is referenced as being over 18.

My understanding is that Alma is 16 and thus a child.

Nope, whoever told you she was 16 is making it up. It's mentioned during the game that she's 16 when a certain event happened and "then several years later, she woke up again" which is what is taking place during this game.

So she is not 16, there is no child nudity in this game, and go yell at your sources for giving you misinformation.

Yeah, Monolith has made some great games in the past: Blood, Shogo MAD & NOLF. The original FEAR was great, although some levels were a kind of a drag.

Agreed that the endless office levels were visually not interesting but the AI made them challenging nonetheless.

Wow, this is the complete opposite of the reviews I have been reading about this game.

Linear levels, dumb as post baddies, no save option, "...plays like a direct consul port", not scary, boring, etc.

I am really surprised by the 80%

yeah, me too, 80% for what. I would not give more than 50%.

I am very disappointed with the game and I have played fear and both expansion packs. This game is just dark (kinda like Doom3), probably to hide the age of the engine. Also, it only plays in a letterbox, which is stupid, but most likely because it's made for consoles.
I usually complete all single player fps game within a few days but this one going to take a while because it's so boring that I only can play one level every 3-4 days.

Doom3 was ok, but it relied on darkness for atmosphere, basically quake 4 is what doom 3 should have been.

Fear 2-----Excels!!!!!!!
The demo Grabbed me.. And, the FULL version has NOT disappointed so far.
The GREAT thing is--you don't have to have a "state-of-Art"---or, faster than the most current system out there.
This game runs GREAT!!! I have had absolutely NO problems with it's running--at all!!!
I feel it's actually more "scarier"--than, the original..MY opinion, since I still have it, and just recently installed it--along with ALL of the "many" patches.

I feel the single player is wayyy better than the 1st game but the MP is severely lacking right now. Game is not demanding at all, but thats because the game engine is old but polished enough to look good. My old e6600 640mb 8800gts got auto detected and put on 1920x1080 with everything max 2xaa 2xaf

I totally agree about the SP being better and the MP lacking. I have a hard time jumping on a server now that doesn't have people cheating or that doesn't have a terrible ping time because there's no dedicated server files.

You guys got me intrigued, I am scared even thinking about playing it, haha. I'm eager to play it but when I remember those night sessions with the 1st part I kinda wanna postpone it ;)
