Please, send me the drivers for nVidia GeForce FX 5900 XT at:
4avdarov@gmail.com. Not the last version of nVidia drivers, but the
drivers right for GeForce FX 5900 XT. Thanks a lot!

Hows the 5900 xt compare in performanced to the gf4 ti4200?
I've got an athlon 2.2ghz. Would I actually see that much of a
difference?

I have a sort of technical question, which isn't answered by either
the instructions that came with my MSI 5900XT or the MSI website.
Nowhere does either of those sources mention a need for an external
power source for the board. Yet when I turn on my computer it tells
me I do not have an "external" power supply connected. On
the other hand, even though neither the manual nor MSI's website
acknowledges this, I did get an internal power connection that came
in the box. I'm somewhat reluctant to plug in the internal power
connector without some assurance this is not going to result in
sparks and pretty blue smoke. Can anyone comment?
Sincerely,
Confused

Nice To see the 5900XT againts the 5700Ultra who play on the same
price range. But Please next time put in some ATI card to the
benchmarks so we can easily compare. An update with the new Catalyst
4.3 drivers would make my day! Thanks...

ok I'm puzzled I ran farcry demo on my machine which is load except
for the video card which is a ti4600 and I can't see what problems
people are having since I have all the eye candy on... yes my card
isn't dx9 I'm waiting for card that's worth upgrading for.
ie... cost = performence increase or more eye candy, so far I have
yet to see a game that shows me either! yes the ati 9800pro or
9800xt show eye candy and performence but nothing like at 4 - 5
hundred dollar card should over a three year old card! and nvidia's
worse since their just overclocking their own cards! so far what
I've seen of the 9000xt seemed good but all the sites seemed to use
very bias reviews, and the only ones that agree seem to be
cut&paste with a few words changed.

I know what you mean but hey "first is everything!"
The FX has now matured into something decent (let the flames begin)
and it is also good that the more recent lower end cards now offer
reasonable performance.

Nice article. I got one of the CoD batch of eVGA
cards, and am relatively happy, though the Far Cry
demo shows how badly nvidia's 2.0 shaders still
stink...
I own a 5900se and my friend next door owns a 9800 pro. Far Cry
kills any system due to the water. Also the ATI card made his rocks
turn purple.
We did a test on farcry and it was the same for both of us.
The SE card for 180.00 is the best value card of the year Ghost
recon and CoD bundle put it over the top of all the other cards out
there at that price range.

My Point of View 5900XT (black PCB) clocks to 525/980 :-)
This is without any bios modifications and only a lownoise 92mm
papst fan to cool it.
but im not finished testing yet.. i think it can go higher
